The time to stop hunkering in the Bunker is over

Since the Eurobodalla Council Election of September 2016 there’s been significant numbers of letters and comments about the Eurobodalla Council, Councillors and some staff that have been very negative. Some evidence of the negative letters and other communications have been made public. Even the Office of Local Government has been involved and advised council to do some things differently apparently. The real disturbing part of what’s been occurring is the Councillors have just bunkered down with out any comment what so ever about what they will do to change things which is not just a perception any more. Evidence is available to back up some of the allegations of poor performance and arrogance toward the shire’s residents. It “May” help if our councillors led by the mayor were to hold public meetings around the shire and have some real meaningful discussions with the shires residents who have grievances with council in a good will manner to improve Council – Councillor relationships with the shires community. What about it councillors ?
