Junior Golfers attend Vets Golf Day

Fifty nine players registered for today’s Aggregate Stroke – Secret Partners event. Results of this somewhat unique event were as follows:

1st: The random pairing of Ross Macalpine and Peter McRae with a combined net score of 66.

2nd: Ann Ware and Jennifer Grey with 67.

3rd: On count back third placing went to the pairing of Leonie Snodgrass and Andrew Gordon with a score of 68.

Ball or Chocolate:

Graham Moore and Wal Williams on 68, Ron Hanlon and Teri Swanbury on 70, Noel Downie and Les Johanson, Len Rogers and Michael Kermode, together with Bruce Ware and Herb Muriwai all on 71, and finally Derek Hoare and Kay McLeod on 72.

Bradman Award:

Chris Wratten and Rene Robertson combined to take out the award this week.

Nearest the Pins:

4th: Ray Downey from Kevin Dukes on the toss of a coin, both players in the hole for two.

6th: Peter McRae with a lifetime achievement of a hole in one!

Ladies 7th: Kay McLeod.

Men’s 7th: Ross Macalpine.

Next week’s game is a 2 Person Stableford Multiplier with registration in the downstairs sports bar area from 7.45am and a shotgun start at 8.30am.
