Eurobodalla Health Service Community Representative Committee

The September Committee meeting was a busy and informative meeting.

Rural eHealth Change Manager, Tracey Bates was our guest speaker. Tracey spoke on the new Electronic Medication Management System, due to be rolled out in Moruya in 2018. The aim of the system is to provide smarter, safer and better use of medication to patients. The system is designed to make the process easier for both patients and staff.

The committee was thrilled to note the CT scanner recently installed at Moruya is operational and the service is being well utilised. In addition, Chris Smith informed the committee that Moruya Hospital Auxiliary donated $107.00 to the Ultra Sound Radiology Unit at Moruya District Hospital. The money will be used to assist with upgrades to the Unit.
