Official status regarding Dunns Creek fire

A bush fire is burning in the area of Dunns Creek Road at Woodlands, south of Batemans Bay.

Current Situation

The fire is burning in the area of Dunns Creek Road at Woodlands. The fire is burning to the east of Dunns Creek Road.

The fire is not yet contained.

Overnight firefighters have been backburning where conditions have been suitable in an effort to contain the fire. They will work today on strengthening these containment lines.

Properties in the areas of Ivy Place, Grace Close, Worthy Drive and Burri Road are not currently under threat and have been door knocked by fire fighters.

Advice

While there is no immediate threat to properties in the area, monitor the situation in case conditions change.

Ensure you know what you will do if the situation changes.
