Narooma Rotary Tertiary Scholarship - Need help with Uni?

All Narooma High students finishing Year 12 this year and who want to go on to tertiary education should apply for the Rotary Club of Narooma Tertiary Education Scholarship.

Narooma Rotary president Bob Aston said the club makes only one award each year

‘The award is conditional on the successful candidate gaining entry to a full time tertiary course,’ he said.

‘Students who plan to defer are still eligible to apply.’

The scholarship provides the successful candidate with $3,000 each year for three years.

Payments will be made twice a year provided the awardee continues to satisfy the Club that studies are being completed satisfactorily.

Mr Aston said applicants will be assessed by the Club’s scholarship committee based on several criteria, including evidence of commitment to their chosen field and the student's school assessment and examination performances.

No particular course will be preferred over any other.

The Rotary Club president’s decision will be final.

Application forms can be collected from the front desk of Narooma High.

Applications must be received by the School by Friday 24 November. Interviews will be held Saturday 16 December.

Please ring Lynda Ord for further information 0412 168 115.
