Broulee Runners results Sept 6th

Women showed the way in Wednesday evening’s Broulee run, which attracted 42 starters. There were outstanding performances by Emma Patyus, Michelle Beby and Nancy Costin in the 2 kilometres with each improving by more than 90 seconds. Prue Bartlett improved by 2 ½ minutes in the 3.5 kilometres and Julianne Domeny reduced her time in the 5 kilometres by over a minute.

The boys also featured with Mitchell Beby improving by 20 seconds in the 2 kilometres and Peter Lenehan knocking 33 seconds off his time in the 3.5 kilometres.

The serious runners were either resting or doing an easy run in preparation for the Moruya Town to Surf to be held on Sunday 10 September. Daniel Beby is aiming for line honours and other Broulee Runners expected to impress are Riley Beby, Gary Ashton, Morgan Pettit, Jo, Sean and Greg Flood. Good luck to all participants.
