Vegies for All is gaining momentum


Kathryn Maxwell, SAGE's Veggies for All ​Home Garden Coordinator is excited for the Veggies for All Project. “Veggies for All” workshops are short, 2-3 hour courses on the basics of growing vegetables and herbs in your backyard. For up to 50 concession card holders, there is the option of SAGE assisting with setting up a 200cm long x 100cm wide x 41cm high colourbond steel veggie bed in their garden, complete with mushroom compost, soil, mulch and a starter pack of seedlings. The next workshops will be: Workshop 2 SAGE Community Garden Thursday 14th September 2017 1pm - 3pm Workshop 3 Narooma Community Garden Saturday 30th September 2017 1pm - 3pm Workshop 4 SAGE Community Garden Saturday 1st October 2017 2pm - 4pm Workshop 5 Tuross Head Community Garden Saturday 21st October 2017 1pm - 3pm​

This is a introduction series to set up home gardeners with the know how for kicking off their own backyard patches.
