Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens volunteers offer guided walks on the first Sunday of each month. are always delighted to explain how the gardens work, who does what, and how visitors can make the most of their time.
The next walk at 11am on Sunday, September 3, will be the first after the recent official opening of the new barbecue pavilion by the Governor of NSW. Though spring flowering has been delayed the gardens have a host of banksias, acacias and epacris (native heath) species in bloom and the retail nursery is well stocked, ready for gardeners to initiate spring planting.
Bookings are not required for the walk however plan to arrive before 11 o’clock. Walks last for about an hour and are tailored to meet the energy levels of guests. For more information visit http://www.friendserbg.org.au
