About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent part-time Registered Nurse located at our Narooma Regional office, servicing clients in their home throughout this region. Reporting directly to the Senior Support Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent clinical care to aged care clients that enables client self-determination, as well as improving social engagement, meaning and purpose. Key responsibilities include;
Carrying out client clinical assessments, referrals and reviews
Providing clinical supervision and support to the team
Working collaboratively with Support Advisors in developing client care plans
Monitoring and ordering client consumables in consultation with the client and Support Advisor
Essential qualifications
Current Australian Health Professional Registration Authority for a Registered Nurse
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Australian Drivers Licence
About you
You will have full access to a fully comprehensively insured vehicle. Key to the success in this role is the demonstrated ability in the below skills and experience;
Strong written and verbal communications and assessment skills
Previous experience in a clinical position in aged care or community setting
Knowledge of Health or Community Aged Care Services
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Strong computer skills
Excellent time management & problem solving
Well-developed understanding and delivery of case management
Previous experience in a Clinical position within Aged Care or Community environment
Proficiency using computer applications including the Microsoft suite of tools and a willingness to learn new programs
