Animal Welfare League news

We have had such a huge response to July as De-sexing month, that, with the help of local vets, we are continuing for another few weeks. If you have an animal that you think would be better off de=sexed (and the majority would), phone your local vet or Barbara Dorman on 4474 3354

Our beautiful Chloe, the young cat who had such a terrible start to life, blind in one eye, deaf, but with a brave and endearing personality, has found her forever home. She has moved to Sydney and we are thrilled with the family she has gone to. Even though she has been in our care for most of her young life, we know that she now has a chance for a happy existence.

If you would like to adopt a cat or kitten or help us raise funds, re-home animals or foster dogs, cats or kittens, please phone Elaine on 0410 016 612.

The Animal Welfare League promotes responsible pet ownership and all our animals are offered for adoption only when they have been vet checked, de-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
