Animal Welfare League news

We have had such a huge response to July as De-sexing month, that, with the help of local vets, we are continuing for another few weeks. If you have an animal that you think would be better off de=sexed (and the majority would), phone your local vet or Barbara Dorman on 4474 3354

Our beautiful Chloe, the young cat who had such a terrible start to life, blind in one eye, deaf, but with a brave and endearing personality, has found her forever home. She has moved to Sydney and we are thrilled with the family she has gone to. Even though she has been in our care for most of her young life, we know that she now has a chance for a happy existence.

Above: Barney, a beautiful boy is waiting for his new home.

If you would like to adopt a cat or kitten or help us raise funds, re-home animals or foster dogs, cats or kittens, please phone Elaine on 0410 016 612.

The Animal Welfare League promotes responsible pet ownership and all our animals are offered for adoption only when they have been vet checked, de-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed.

COMMENTS : Due to the risks associated with comments from unidentified contributors that expose The Beagle to possible legal actions under the NSW Defamation Act 2005 No 77 anonymous or Nom de Plume comments will not be available unless the author is known to the editor by way of a verified email address or by association.

Others who provide their REAL NAME (first name AND Surname) and a verifiable email address (it won't be published) are invited to comment below. (yes it is a pain but please comply - it would be a  shame to see your comment deleted)

Those contributors KNOWN to us and verified may continue to use their First Name or Nom de plume for ease. The primary need for all of this is due to traceability should a legal action arise.
