Eurobodalla Orchid Club news

Despite the season being unfriendly to both orchids and orchid growers at large, we managed almost 150 plants on the show benches at our recent Winter Show at the CWA Hall in Queen St Moruya. The Show coincided with the middle weekend of school holidays and good weather brought good crowds.

Congratulations to Peter and Laurina Van Est from Dalmeny, who took both Grand Champion and Reserve Champion ribbons. Most Successful exhibitor was Gordon Marion from Tuross Head.

Our Spring Show is on Friday and Saturday 1st (9am-4pm) & 2nd (9am – 2pm) September at Narooma Sports and Leisure Centre.

Sequoia Orchids (David Gynn) will be in attendance again with flowering and young cymbidiums on the sales table.

Steve Morgan will return with his bromeliads and we’re hopeful that Karen and Eddy will have a representation of Mogo Orchid and Fern Nursery stock for sale.

Our Spring Show is definitely one not to be missed.

Hope you can call in & enjoy!
