Broulee Runners report July 26th

Excellent running conditions attracted 37 starters in this evening’s event. We welcomed Matilda Bell, Betty Davis Boyden, Liz & Jo Pirro and the Gilligan family consisting of Vaughn, Harrison and Brock to their first run with the group.

We were pleased to welcome back Carmen Bellis (McIntosh) returning for her third run with the group after the birth of her child.

Personal best times were recorded by Audrey and Regina Knobel, Tracey Denning, Julianne Domeny and Elisa Wirkala.

Victoria Fleming recruited Liz and Jo Pirro (the three are pictured with Roz Hayward) from Banksia Village to participate. This clearly demonstrates that the event can be enjoyed by all ages and fitness levels.

Above: Roz Hayward, Victoria Fleming, Jo and Liz Pirro. It is never to late to become an athlete!

The main purpose of our running group is to give each participant the chance to measure performance on a regular basis and map improvement. See you all next week at 4.30pm.
