On this day "NO FISHING LICENCE IS NEEDED FOR ADULTS" Gone Fishing Day, endorsed by NSW DPI celebrates our love of fishing and encourage everyone to get out on the water. It doesn't matter if you haven't fished before or if you're the keenest of anglers, Gone Fishing Day is for everyone! The thrust of the event is to provide an opportunity to the community to try "a days fishing". The event is open to all ages, children and adults!

The day is "totally free" (thanks to fishers licence fees) and will include lunch, drinks, education tables, casting comp, jumping castle, disco and a lot more!
