Far South Coast Police report


BATEMANS BAY Around 12.20am Thursday morning 20 July 2017, unknown offender/s have used a brick to smash a window at a community building in Museum Place, Batemans Bay. Access was gained to the property and items rummaged through. Police were alerted by a security company and attended shortly after. At that time the offender/s had fled. Police are investigating the incident. BATEMANS BAY Around 12am on Thursday 20 July 2017, a Subaru was stopped by Police on Beach Road, Batemans Bay for the purpose of a random breath and drug test. The 34 year old driver was breath tested with a negative result. He underwent a drug oral test with a positive reading to methamphetamines. He was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station. A secondary test was conducted and laboratory results are pending. He was issued a 24 hour prohibition notice for driving.
