Leah Hearne of Batemans Bay BMX Club to represent Australia at the 2017 BMX World Championships in t

The amazing Leah Hearne will be representing Australia at the 2017 BMX World Championships in the USA this month!

Video montage by Sheridan Batistic

This is HUGE and wonderful NEWS for a quiet, dedicated sportswoman about to compete in the international arena. Those who have watched Leah climb the ladder in BMX and witnessed her continued drive, dedication to the sport, her accomplishments and the continued improvements are not at all surprised. With the support of a very strong club along with family and friends who drive the endless miles to compete around the State and her sheer determination the chance to represent Australia internationally is very well deserved. Leah and Andrew Hearne fly out this weekend, so if you see Leah at the Batemans Bay BMX track or around Batemans Bay this week give her a hug and wish her luck! The whole Batemans Bay BMX crew will be cheering. Go get 'em!
