Far South Coast Falcons take on Canberra Royals at Tathra this weekend CANCELLED

******* Falcons games forfeited by Canberra Royals ********* In a disappointing turn of events Canberra Royals have forfeited the game against the Far South Coast Falcons Under 15s side. Therefore, there will be no game at Tathra this weekend. Our team is very disappointed but in true Falcons' spirit many will now travel to Jindabyne to support the girls in the older grade against Vikings. After 6 weeks of travelling to Canberra and Jindabyne to play against Canberra teams this is very disappointing. A home game is scheduled for the latter half of the season, news on this soon... We will maintain our position on the top of the ladder. Thank you all for your support, Together we Soar! We will be in touch soon. Find & like us on Facebook and Instagram @farsouthcoastfalconsrugby *********************************************************************************** On Saturday at 12.30pm the Far South Coast Falcons will take on the mighty Canberra Royals at the Falcons' home ground, Tathra Beach Country Club oval. This is the first home game for the newly formed side and is a great opportunity for supporters, families and the community to see some great Girls Rugby Union.

The Falcons are developing a reputation as a fast and technical side who, under the guidance of Coach Harris, are a real threat to the longer established Canberra clubs, like Royals. This will be a real fight for top place on the ladder. The Falcons are currently unbeaten.

"We want to have a great crowd at the game on Saturday. The South Coast community has been really supportive of the Falcons and we want to show you some top Girls Rugby Union. We will also need all the advantages that playing a home game can give to a team, to help us maintain that crucial spot at the top of the ladder," said Coach Scott Harris.

With girls coming from as far as Eden to Batemans Bay to train each week in Tathra, this is a really committed bunch of young players. The game kicks off at 12.30pm, Saturday at Tathra Beach Country Club oval, canteen available. For more information, find the Far South Coast Falcons Facebook page.

The under 17s Falcons side will be playing in Jindabyne this week.
