Nelligen received a welcome visit this afternoon from local Member for Bega Andrew Constance (Minister for Transport & Infrastructure), Melinda Pavey (Minister for Roads & Maritime and Freight), and also Eurobodalla Shire Councils Mayor Liz Innes & GM Dr. Catherine Dale.
Mr Constance & Mrs Pavey were delighted to announce the NSW Governments commitment to funding of $300 million for major Bridge replacements at Nelligen and Batemans Bay and their related highway and intersection upgrades. It's expected that construction will start in 2019 and both projects may run simultaneously.
