Southern area League wrap-up

Yesterday the Cooma Fillies played Candelo/ Bemboka Panthers in Bemboka and got the win 10-6- with good ball movement and a strong defence. Some lucky breaks helped. Reserve Grade Cooma Stallions took on Candelo/ Bemboka Panthers and went down 42-10. Candelo started off strong with some quick tries, Cooma reacted but at the end of the day the Panthers were too strong for the Stallions. First Grade The Cooma Stallions took on the Narooma Devils in Narooma on Sunday. With solid impact and quick line speed Cooma took the lead and held it throughout the game, winning 42-24. Under 18's Cooma Stallions took on Narooma Devils, with Narooma's rep players making shine over the new Cooma side and while the boys pushed through and made a solid effort in the end they went down to the stronger team.
