Tuross Head Country Club - Sat March 18th

Tuross Head Country Club men golfers all teed off last Saturday hoping to complete a full round of competition golf, but not to be, with consistent rain forcing them back to the clubhouse, where they could debate and consider what might have been.

They can perhaps look forward to the coming Saturday stableford 6 x 6 x 6 competition.

However they did have the previous Thursday 18 hole medley competition to reflect on and discuss with Paul Ferguson emerging as the winner with 39 stableford points.

Leigh Coloe filled second placing with 38 with Bruce Lidbury third on 36 points.

Jim Wade won the final voucher with 35 points.

Ball winners were: Bruce Cleave, Marie Murawai, Dave Gray, Tim Ritchie, Colin Houghton' Paul Israel, Greg Smith and Ian McManus.

Nearest the pin winners were:

Bruce Lidbury on the 4th hole with 2.38 m.

Greg Smith won the 6th with 1.77 m and

Leigh Coloe was closest on the 7th with 1.29 m.
