Animal Welfare League news

Many thanks to everyone who supported the Animal Welfare League, Eurobodalla Branch, at their Giant Garage Sale last week. We were inundated with so many wonderful things to sell; our new venue proved a great success on the Sunday with a continuous crowd keen to buy.

We still have a few adult cats ready for adoption and kittens in all shapes and sizes waiting for their new home. For details on any of these felines, please phone Elaine on 0410 016 612. We did have a dog surrendered this week but she was re-homed within hours. Once again, we would like to put out an appeal for anyone out there who would consider being a dog carer. Without carers we just cannot help rescue and rehome any dogs: we don’t have a centre and rely entirely on volunteers. It is a rewarding thing to do – ring Elaine for more details if you are interested.

The Animal Welfare League promotes responsible pet ownership and all our pets available for re-homing have been de-sexed, vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. For more information on the League, the work we do and the latest news visit our Facebook page

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
