A grass fire is burning near Taliesin Rd, Carwoola, approximately 10 kilometres east of Queanbeyan. The fire is moving quickly in an easterly direction towards Captains Flat Road. If you are in Canberra and you’re travelling towards the coast, be aware numerous emergency service vehicles will be travelling along the Kings Highway to assist with the fire at Carwoola. Slow down and give way to them.
