18 cannabis plants seized following search warrant – Long Beach

Police have seized 18 cannabis plants after executing a search warrant on the state’s far south coast.

About 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 25 January 2017), officers attached to Far South Coast Local Area Command attended a vacant house on Long Beach Road, Long Beach, following reports of drugs being cultivated.

Police conducted a search of the property and allegedly located a hydroponic set up and 18 cannabis plants. All items were seized and will undergo forensic examination.

Officers have commenced an investigation and are urging anyone with information to contact police via Crime Stoppers. Media Release
