Batemans Bay assault 12:50am Jan 25th


A 39 year old man was assaulted in Orient Street, Batemans Bay around 12:50am Wednesday morning 25 January 2017.

The incident occurred near the intersection of North Street on the eastern footpath. He was walking his dog when set upon by two males. He received facial injuries including 4 lost teeth and grazes. His mobile phone was stolen being a Samsung.

The description of the suspects is a male with long hair, goatee and tanned skin. The other is wearing a mask/bandana over his face, dark blue hooded jumper.

Police are investigating the incident and ask for any witnesses to contact Batemans Bay Police on 44720099 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000.
