Australia Day at Mogo Gold Rush


A great family opportunity this Australia Day at "Gold Rush Colony Mogo" Come dressed in period costume for free entry. "Gold Rush Colony Mogo" is inviting visitors on Australia Day this year to be transported to the 1850s Gold Rush Era. During the day they will be providing guided tours, panning for real gold, observing woodturner and blacksmith at work, checking out the display of Moruya Antique tractor and machinery and stopping by the Spinners and Weavers and the Eurobodalla woodworking guild. There will be events for the kids such as the Queen Victoria "Nugget hunt", along with damper making and some traditional games. Bring a picnic or our Diggers Rest Tavern will be open for a bit of Pot Luck stew or Brew. Activities begin from 10am and the first tour is at 10.30am
