MORUYA
About 2.05am on Sunday 1 January 2017, police were driving north along the Princes Highway approximately 6.5 kilometres south of Moruya. Police observed a white Holden being driven in the opposite direction. At the time the vehicle appeared to have just skidded to a stop in the middle of the lane.
Police conducted a U-turn and pulled up behind the vehicle. The 31 year old male driver from Kianga was spoken to and arrested after a positive reading for alcohol. He was taken to Moruya Police Station for a breath analysis.
He recorded a high range reading and was charged with drink driving. His licence was suspended and he will appear at Moruya Local Court on the 10 February 2017. Source
