Accident at Deep Creek

BATEMANS BAY

A family of four were lucky to escape a single vehicle car crash that occurred on the Princes Highway, Deep Creek approximately 10 kilometres south of Batemans Bay yesrterday afternoon.

About 4:20pm Friday 30/12/2016, a Mitsubishi Lancer was travelling north on the Highway when the vehicle began to swerve. The vehicle skidded into the shoulder colliding with several guide posts, a traffic sign and finally crashing into the steel guard rail.

Passing motorists stopped to render assistance. Ambulance and Police were in the area and attended within minutes. The family from Nowra were treated for shock with no injuries. The family included two children aged three and six months. Source
