Sharing a love of art, the Artful Nine is a group of local friends who work mainly in the mediums of mosaics and painting. The group shares ideas, lots of food, and has a central philosophy of having fun and having a go. Some of the myriad of surfaces mosaiced by the group will be on show at the SoArt Gallery (next to Narooma Kinema), Narooma from December 30 to January 8, along with paintings in a range of mediums. The mosaics consist of new and rejuvenated items displaying quirky, unique and colourful styles. Many of the paintings are mixed media also. An opening night will be held on Thursday 29 December at 5.30pm. All welcome.
