Bridge Works - Cobargo and Bega

CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS FOR MAINTENANCE WORK ON TWO BRIDGES NORTH OF BEGA

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway north of Bega from next week for safety improvement work on two bridges.

Work will be carried out on the bridge across Double Creek, about 10 kilometres north of Bega, to repair the bridge barrier, drainage system and bridge joints.

Work will also be carried out on the bridge across Sams Creek, about five kilometres north of Cobargo, and includes patching of the concrete road surface and repairs to the drainage system.

Lane closures will be in place during work hours, which are scheduled between 7am and 5pm from Monday 12 to Friday 16 December, weather permitting.

For the safety of workers and motorists, traffic control and a reduced 40 km/h speed limit will also be in place.

Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists for their patience while work is carried out.
