Shelly Beach, Moruya South Head will be patrolled by life saving volunteers for the first time this summer. Shelly Beach is a popular family recreation spot at the mouth of the Moruya River and is more suiatble for families wanting an alternate to the rougher surf encountered at Moruya South Head Beach. Moruya Surf Life Saving Club volunteers will be on hand at both local beaches- Moruya main beach, where the club is based, and at the nearby Shelley's Beach.
