Sally King will be live in the Twist Lounge Jan 7th, 2016 SALLY KING is a singer/songwriter renown for her dynamic live performances and amazing vocal ability. As a high –profile member of Sydney’s blues scene from the late 70’s – late 90’s Sally fronted her own bands and appeared as a special guest artist with many local and overseas blues acts. Career highlights include a six week USA tour with Bo Diddley (1975), guest artist appearances with overseas blues acts (eg HighTide Harris, Jimmy McGriff, Big Jay McNeally), and local bands (eg Foreday Riders, Bondi Cigars, Mighty Reapers), Sydney Festival appearances and a prison tour. As front person for her own bands (Mona and the Wail, Sally King Band, Mustangs, The Champions) and now with her band 'The Same Tribe'.
Sally is now Blues royalty and we are excited to have her in Narooma along with the fantastic Ross Ward!!!
