The proposed closure of the Snowy Mountains Highway on Brown Mountain has been delayed until Wednesday 15th November. The Brown Mountain road will be closed from 9:30am to 2:30pm for two weeks for essential maintenance work. Wed 16 Nov 2016 - Tue 29 Nov 2016 Scheduled road closure - Weekdays (9:30am to 2:30pm) Both directions closed Diversions: Traffic heading to the coast from the Monaro Hwy will be directed to use Kings Hwy to Batemans Bay or Imlay Rd through Bombala. B-doubles should use Imlay Rd which results in a significant detour. Local road users should use alternative routes including Cathcart Rd from Bibenluke and Bombala through Candelo and Mt Darragh Rd from Bombala to Pambula Source Live Traffic NSW
