Tomakin, The Undiscovered History

Do you have some old photos you would like to share?

Since the publishing of the book 'Tomakin - The Undiscovered History' many local residents have come forward with photos of Tomakin from years gone by.

Here are a couple of photos kindly loaned to Tomakin Community Association. by Lorna Habermann, taken by her late father Merv.

The first one shows the road to Melville Point (still unimproved) and the second shows a view of the Tomaga River and early developments in Tomakin.

If you have any photos you would like to share, please email with details.

There are still some from our first production run of "Tomakin: the Undiscovered History" left to purchase so be quick if you want a copy!

Call 0433 140 127 to arrange to collect a copy from Tomakin Community Association.
