Disabled access at One Tree improved

Council has installed handrails. top and bottom, on the concrete ramp that provides access to the Tuross Head Main Beach. While 98% of the community won't need these handrails they are much appreciated by those in the community who need to use the hand rails to gain access to the main beach. There have been some wonderful disabled improvements to One Tree Point Reserve as part of Council's refurbishment of the are. For the first time ever in the history of Tuross Head the mobile disabled have been able to access One Tree Point lookout. Thanks can go to Stafford Dixon who has fought hard for over twenty years to see disabled access improved in Tuross Head. One Tree Point reserve now also has disabled parking, the newly refurbished BBQ has disabled pathways, the new steps down to One Tree Cove are half steps to provide greater access ease and now the town can celebrate new handrails. Editors Note: Turossians are encouraged to remove any timber they want from the Main Beach over November. At the end of November Council will look at what is left and will then determine an action.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
