The sun is gone, my darling one,

The gentle night has come;

“Tra-la-la-rum-tum-tum.”

No danger threatens you, sweet one,

You’re tucked in quite secure;

And on the nursery mantelpiece

Is Wood’s Great Peppermint Cure.
