Schools compete in Paddle Challenge boards

In the lead up to the Batemans Bay Kayak Challenge that includes a Family 2km race the Bay Challenge organisers have been hard at work promoting the Family part of the challenge far and wide. Recently they attended Bunnings with over 100 kids enjoying in-house boat racing This week has seen a display go up in the Bridge Plaza of decorated boards made by school children from Moruya to Batemans Bay. The timber cut-out boards, made by the Batemans Bay Mens Shed were provided to seven schools and each has been decorated by students in their own way with a hope that the winning board will return to their school a super prize from Harvey Norman. You can check out the artworks on display now in Bridge Plaza, in the run up to the Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge. The winner will be announced during the Challenge event. Don't forget to vote for your favourite while you're there.
