Tuross Head men's golf

Tuross Head Country Club men’s golf championship dates announced Tuross Head men golfers are looking forward to a busy schedule over the next few months.


The Club Championships will be held over the weekend of November 5th and 6th and The Tuross Head Club Open will be played over the weekend of December 3rd and 4th.


Both events will comprise two rounds of stroke competition, played in three divisions, with awards for both stroke and handicap winners and placegetters. Both these events should attract maximum entries and the course should be in excellent condition.


Tuross Head men’s stableford golf results Saturday September 17th Prize Winners Darren Wilmouth won a closely fought competition with an excellent round of 39 stableford points. Nigel Barling was a close second with 38 points ahead of Martin Booth who also carded 38 points but was relegated to third spot on a countback. Bruce Handley and David Williams both scored 37 points and filled the remaining award positions. Nearest the Pins A grade. Mark Haberkorn 4th, Martin Booth 6th, Troy Kingston 7th. B grade. Steve O’Shea 4th, Bruce Martin 6th. C grade. Trevor Jones 4th and 6th, Tony Brown 7th.


Balls were awarded down to early 29 stableford points.

Nearest the Pins

Peter Garn was closest on both the 4th and 6th hole and Brad Doolan won the 7th hole. Balls were awarded down to 32 stableford points.
