Tomakin Twist Tops Bowls Report.


There were 25 bowlers ready to go out on the green on a lovely warm Sunday morning, but very windy.

Twisties Treasurer Tony Birmingham took over proceedings along with Monty and Moby Dick, as other committee members were absent, thanks to Karen James for helping out with cards.

Next Sunday will be last day to put names down for Christmas Party on Clyde Princess .

Welcome to new bowlers Peter Cornelli, husband of Leonie, also Ross Vaux from Gerringong.

Congratulations to Laurie Masterson on winning Second Place in Basketball at Special Olympics.

Monty organised Twisties to have a photo with Laurie showing off his Silver Medal.

Winners were those with Lowest Winning Ends, +2, Max Gurtner and Brett Keegan.

Runners-up, +4, Sue Bender and Tricia Wheeler, what a great game, well bowled Sue.

Other winning teams, Margaret Carney and Michael Voce sharing a half game with Ross Miller.Leonie Cornelli and Ellie Crompton. Patty Manning and Robyn Best .Madge Elliott and Patrick Wheelahan with some very close scores overall.

Brett selected Rink 9 to try for Jackpot, winning Skip Rosco cut cards but no Joker, 2 of Hearts. Lucky number winners on 3 Bread Roll , 26, Trish The Dish on a redraw.

Thanks to Dick and Roland for selling tickets after bowls in Club Tomakin.
