You may be aware that a Development Application (DA) for the next stage of the Broulee Beach Estate is open for public comment, closing on Friday 11 February 2022. This incorporates 80 lot subdivision surrounding Captain Oldrey Park.

The Broulee and Mossy Point Community Association acknowledge that this development will proceed but we think that things could be done better to integrate the new development with the existing Broulee Village environment.
A look at the current development stage on the corner of Broulee Rd & Clarke St is an example of the unsustainable urban design that the Eurobodalla Council Planning Team endorses for development in the shire:
*. Clear felling every tree on both developer land and adjoining community land
*. Destruction and use of adjoining public land for services that arguably should be confined to the bounds of the development.
*. Inaccurate and misleading community consultation.
These decisions aim to maximise the number of blocks that can be carved out from the development resulting in negative outcomes for the wider Broulee community.
You can have your say on the future of Broulee by submitting your comments.
