New intersection on George Bass Drive

Work has begun on a new intersection on George Bass Drive.

The new intersection is approximately 500 metres north of the turnoff at Bruce Cameron Drive to the Moruya Airport, and will provide safe entry with dedicated left and right turn lanes into a proposed access road that will service the western sub-division of the airport precinct.

Traffic control will be in place and commuters should expect short delays. Road sealing is expected to be finished by Thursday 9th April, with the rest of the work completed by Friday 8 May.

The intersection is part of a $9.6 million redevelopment of the airport precinct funded by Council and the NSW and Australian governments to drive economic development and employment in the shire.

For further information and latest updates on the project, please visit our website: http://www.esc.nsw.gov.au and search for ‘Moruya Airport upgrade’.
