Nelligen’s historic cemetery earmarked for repair

Nelligen’s historic cemetery was severely impacted by the 31st December fire front, resulting in destruction of fencing, signs and gardens as well as with heat/ smoke damage to some family headstones. The Nelligen Progress Association are advised that Eurobodalla Shire Council staff have already carried out a preliminary assessment of the damage so that planned restoration work can be undertaken. The work is anticipated to be in the short term.


NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
