Three rinks of bowlers on the green last Tuesday, one group playing pairs and two rinks of triples.
Alison Maloney, Barb McNamara and Dawn Kenny had a great game against Clare Cork, Jan Rapkins and Willy Blink. After seven ends scores were seven all before Willy's team skipped ahead to be in a good position after the 16th. Dawn and Co weren't having it and came home well to win the next two ends. The final result was an 18 all draw.
When the 'Lucky Rink' was called as four, a countback of ends showed that Dawn's team won by two ends and received the prize money. Well done all!
The 50 Club winner was Leila Gosper and Barb McNamara had the winning ticket for the raffle with thanks to Rapley and Son Plaza Butchery.
