Last Tuesday was the first day back for ladies social bowls following the Christmas/New Year break and bowlers were full of enthusiasm to get out on the green again. Three games of triples were played and the prize winners were selected by a 'lucky rinks' draw.
Rink six was drawn where the team of Clare Cork, Cindy Newell and Vicki Herman (skip) had a close game against Sue Waldock, Denise Holman and Gail Palmer (skip). After playing 13 ends Gail's team held the lead by two shots. Then, Vicki's team rallied and went on to win the game and the day's prize money. Well done ladies!
