It's official - new Eurobodalla Hospital land is acquired

Congratulations to the Eurobodalla community on this week’s news of the long awaited acquisition of a site for the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital

Member for Bega, Michael Holland said "After 4 years of campaigning and petitioning, the community is one step closer to the realisation of a level 4 regional hospital for the Eurobodalla interlinked with services at South East Regional Hospital, Bega.

"I don’t believe that there has been an example of a stronger and more united campaign in any community in NSW.

"Work can now commence with a view to completion in 2025.

"Congratulations to the team at NSW Health Infrastructure and the many other individuals involved in the process so far.

"As your local member, I intend to see this work completed to the level of service capability which our community expects.

"The final result needs to complement the structure with function.

"More work remains to provide additional clinical, educational and residential resources on the site.

"Now that Braemar Farm is the property of the Health Administration Corporation, communication should commence on the Corporation’s plans for the disposal of the State assets at the former Bega District Hospital as well as Moruya and Batemans Bay District Hospitals on completion of the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital. Government Gazette of the State of New South Wales Number 168–Compulsory Acquisitions Tuesday, 19 April 2022

The new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital is another step closer after the Gazettal of the acquisition of the land.
