Emily Targett of Malua Bay RFB, Felisha Kaiser of Elsmore RFB and Thomas Norman of Illabo RFB have been selected as the deserving recipients of the Gary Barton Memorial Youth Scholarship.
NSW RFSA say "The field of nominees was excellent, reflecting the great talent and commitment of the RFS young member cohort.
"These three young RFS members will be sponsored for an unforgettable 11-day journey on board the STS Young Endeavour, a modern sailing ship. During this journey, they will learn how to sail a square-rigged tall ship while also gaining valuable leadership skills and experiencing the rewards of teamwork.
"The RFSA Gary Barton Memorial Youth Scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for young people to develop their skills and learn new things, and we are delighted to support these three exceptional individuals on their journey. We would like to extend our congratulations to Emily, Felisha and Thomas on their well-deserved achievement".
