Dumped Car Set Alight at Catalina

Dumped Car Set Alight Just before 8am this morning our brigade was called to reports of smoke coming from bush land in between Glenella Road and Yarabee drive in Catalina. Upon arrival, crews located a car alight with the surrounding bush land starting to burn. Our smaller appliance was able to gain access to the car fire and completely extinguish it and the surrounding bush land. We are incredibly disappointed to continuously see arson in our local community after all we have been through. Had we not had so much rainfall recently, this car fire could’ve easily spread into the nearby bush land putting properties and people at risk.


NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
