Deceased whale at Twofold Bay, Eden

The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service have been monitoring a deceased whale near Quarantine Bay this morning and liaising with Bega Valley Shire Council.

The carcass has washed onto rocks along the western side of Twofold Bay.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and Bega Valley Shire Council working together to develop removal options for the carcass.

Residents and visitors should avoid the area as the carcass has attracted a number of sharks.
