Bega Valley Shire Council will begin to construct an informal car park at Cuttagee Headland from Tuesday 20 December. There will be limited access to the headland for the duration of the works which will take 2 days to complete and signage will be in place.

Locals and visitors will benefit from a formalised stopping point to park before admiring the views from the headland. Limiting traffic movements across the headland will increase public safety, preventing vehicle access to the cliff's edge. This will also allow for the natural restoration and protection of the landscape.

The works will be carried out by local contractors and involves no excavation or removal of native vegetation.
