While many in the community may have thought the Public Forum meeting held last Saturday in Batemans Bay was about "The Bridge" and its design the issues raised in that meeting were around the ancillary concerns of traffic flow, pedestrian access, boating access and the financial impact to the Batemans Bay CBD. Over coming weeks The Beagle will be focusing on each of these issues that sit squarely with the local Council who will inherit the impacts, ownership, maintenance, renewal and consequences of any poor design. As each issue is raised Council will be asked to provide comment.
