Botanic Gardens photographic safari

In July, a number of members of the Eurobodalla Photographic Club headed out to The Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens for a photo shoot in the quiet of the early morning. Many of the garden’s animals were happy to be photographed, before the usual stream of visitors arrived!

At the club’s July meeting, members learned about “photographing shiny objects”. Heath Barkley led a very interesting workshop, ably assisted by Colin Pass and Dave Kemp.

Colin Pass also presented an interesting photographic journey through some great coincidences in his lifetime!

As usual, there was a photographic competition at the July meeting, this month with an open theme. Judged by Kim Jansen, the winners were:

The Eurobodalla Photographic Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except December) at 7pm at the Tomakin Community Hall. All interested in joining the club are welcome.

(The August 2019 meeting will be taking place at the Batemans Bay Heritage museum, which is kindly hosting the club for that meeting only, at 5pm on 27th August.)
