Allen Lee scores in Tuross Head stableford competition

Recent Tuross Head match play singles championship winner Allen Lee again produced an excellent round of golf to also win this weeks stableford competition.

Allen returned a card of 39 points well ahead of Graeme Sindel 37 points, Leigh Coloe 36 points and David Dow and Jim Wade who both scored 35 points.

Nearest the pins were won by A grade golfers:

Ken Brown on the 4th hole.

John Phyland won the 6th with 4.36 m and

Dave Bray the 7th with 3.95 m.

Peter Nikolic was the best of the B grade golfers with 6.70 m on the 4th hole.

Ian Manton was awarded the 6th with 3.97 m and

Bruce Cleeve won the 7th with 7.58 m.

C grade player Mick Elfar was best on the 4th with 2.88 m.

Paul Israel was closest on the 6th with 6.40 m and

Mike Allen won the 7th with 8.80m.

Thursday’s medley stableford competition was won by Peter Mostyn with 40 points, ahead of Leonie Snodgrass and Herb Muriwai both on 37 points.

Paul Israel filled the remaining award spot with 36 points.

Nearest the pins were won by Ian McManus, Glen Shearer and Leonie Snodgrass.
